About me
Ivan Kocijan
I’m always sad to hear people talking how managers are bad and how they do nothing just get paid. My opinion, this is because there are too many managers who don’t get a proper support and mentorship. I’m hoping to change that and help anyone who wants to become a better leader.
I’ve started my career in the IT industry more than 15 years ago. In the last 12+ years I’ve been in various leadership positions.
My experience consists of leading various roles: Engineers, HR roles and leading people who lead other people.
Over the course of my career, I have built and supported teams ranging from small groups of 4-5 members to whole engineering departments.
In the last few years I’ve been responsible for an engineering department consisting of 100+ engineers.
If you want to become a better leader or you need help building a team, let’s get in touch and talk about how I can help you.

I co-founded the biggest Croatian student competition. For the first few years I was a team lead responsible for various roles included in the organisation. From marketing and engineers to people who helped us organise events.
This experience helped me understand how to prepare people to take over your role and I’m glad I did that. This student competition is now the biggest one in Croatia.
